B(L)OOM

B(l)oom is a series of twenty drawings using ink, gouache, and transfer pigment on paper. Work is stacked in thematic groupings on the wall.

Hill intiated the series from the word-play of its title; a chain of associatons that led to drawing from the incongruent clash of skinhead culture with 'flower power' images. The following are a few examples of the visual vocabulary developed within this series.
